Rif Ketubot 30a {68}

30a

We have seen a Gaon who writes that we go after our estimation of the father's attitude to reduce from 1/10th of the assets, but to add to the 1/10th, no, for we do not find explicitly one who said that we add to the 1/10th.
And in perek Naarah sheNitpateta, we say:
Rabbi Yochanan cited Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai: Why did they enact the ketuba of male children? So that a man will leap to give his daughter like his son.
And until how much? Abaye and Rava both say "until 1/10th of the assets."
Therefore, me cannot take out of the assets of the orphans more than 1/10th of the assets.

And another Gaon said that Rabbi Yehuda, who said "if he married off his first daughter, to his second daughter is given in the same he gave to his first daughter," making it clear that we go after an assessment of the father's attitude, this was said plainly without stipulation, such that it does not matter whether to reduce from the 1/10th or to add to the 1/10th.
And since the halacha is ruled explicitly like Rabbi Yehuda, we act in accordance with him -- that where we know an estimation of the father's attitude, we give her how much we estimate, whether to reduce from the 1/10th or to add to the 1/10th, and if we do not know his attitude, we give her 1/10th of the assets.

To return to the actual text:
Rabbi says: A daughter supported by the brothers takes 1/10th of the assets.
They said to him: According to your words, one who has 10 daughters and 1 son, the son gets nothing when there are these daughters here.
He said to them: So do I say: The first takes 1/10th of the assets, the second {1/10th} of the remaining {rather than the initial sum}, the third of what remains, and they return and divide equally.
Divide equally?
{Ketubot 68b}
But each one has taken her own! This is what it means to say: If all of them come to marry at once, they divide equally. And so is the halacha.

The Sages learnt {in a brayta}: The daughters, whether they matured before marriage of married before maturity, they lose their provision but do not lose their marriage outfit. These are the words of Rabbi.
Rabbi Shimon ben Eleazar says: They even lose their marriage outfit {this 1/10th of the estate}.
How should they act? They hire for themselves husbands {who will say they are willing to marry them} and thus extract for themselves the marriage outfit.

Rav Nachman said: Huna said to me that the halacha is like Rabbi.
Rava objected to Rav Nachman: "A orphaness whose mother and brother married her off {even} with her consent and they write for her {of the estate} 100 or 50 zuz, she is able, when she matures, to extract from their hands what is due to be given her." The reason is that she is a female minor. But, if she were an adult, this would have been forgiving {the amount due her}.
This is no contradiction. Here is where she protested and here is where she did not protest.

And so is also logical, for if so {that is, otherwise}, there would be a contradiction between Rabbi and Rabbi. For they learnt {in a brayta}: Rabbi says that a daughter who is provided for by the brothers takes 1/10th of the assets. Implying that if supported, yes, but in not supported, no. Do we not deduce from this that here is where she objects and here is where she does not object? We so deduce.

Ravina said to Rava: Rav Ada bar Ahava said to us in your name: If she became an adolescent and did not marry, she does not need to object. If she married and did not achieve adolescence, she does not need to object. If she achieved adolescence and married, she needs to object.
