תנן התם התוקע לחבירו נותן לו סלע
ההוא גברא דתקע ליה לחבריה
שלחיה רב טוביא בר מתנה לקמיה דרב אסי סלע צורי תנן או סלע מדינה תנן
ופשטה מהא דאמרינן רב יהודה אומר כל כסף קצוב האמור בתורה כסף צורי ושל דבריהם כסף מדינה
אמר ליה ההוא גברא הואיל ופלגא דזוזא הוא לא בעינא ניתבוה לעניי
הדר אמר להו ניתבוה ניהלי דאיזיל אברי ביה נפשאי
א"ל רב יוסף כבר זכו ביה עניי' ואע"ג דליכא עניי' הכא דליזכו ביה אנן ידי עניים אנן
דאמר רב יהודה אמר שמואל יתומים אין צריכין פרוזבול

We have learnt elsewhere: If a man boxes another man's ear, he has to give him a sela.

A certain man having {been summoned for} boxing another man's ear. Rav Tuvia bar Mataniah sent before Rav Asi: Did they mean a Tyrian sela or a sela of whatever country?
And he resolved it from that which we said: Rav Yehuda says: Wherever money is mentioned in the Torah, the reference is to Tyrian money, but wherever it occurs in the words of the Rabbis it means local money.
The plaintiff upon hearing that said to the judge: 'Since it will [only] amount to half a zuz, I do not want it; let him give it to the poor.' Later, however, he said to them; 'Let him give it to me, as I will go and obtain a cure for myself with it.'
Rav Yosef said to him: The poor have already acquired a title to it, for though the poor were not present here, we [in the Court, always] act as the agents of the poor. For Rav Yehuda cited Shmuel: Orphans do not require a prozbol,
