Rif Gittin 36a-b {75a - b; 75a}

36a

{Gittin 75a}

"RABBAN SHIMON BEN GAMLIEL SAID: IT HAPPENED IN TZIDON...":
Rabba bar bar Channa cited Rabbi Yochanan: Wherever Rabban Shimon ben Gamliel gives a ruling in our Mishna, the halacha is like him, except by the guarantor, Tzidon {=this Mishna}, and later proof {brought after the time given by bet din}.
Therefore, she needs to give him his robe specifically, and if it is lost, even if she gave him its value, it is not a valid get.

{Gittin 75b}
Shmuel instituted by the get of a deathly ill person {given so that she not worry about chalitza or yibbum that it should read} "if I do not die, it should not be a get, and if I die, it should be a get, {and once again} if I do not die, it should not be a get."
"If I do not die, it should not be a get" -- because a man should not start with evil to himself.
"And if I die, it should be a get, and if I do not die, it should not be a get" -- for we need the positive declaration before the negative declaration.

{Gittin 75a}
The Sages learnt {in a brayta}: Behold this is your get but the paper belongs to me, she is not divorced. On condition that you return to me the paper, she is divorced.
What is the difference between the resha and the sefa? Rav Ashi said: Who is this {author}? Rabbi, who said that whoever said "on condition" is as if he says "from now."
And so is the halacha.
