אין לוקחין ספרים וכו'
אמר רב נחמן נקטינן ס"ת שכתבו מין ישרף כתבו עובד כוכבים יגנז נמצא ביד מין יגנז ביד עובד כוכבים אמרי לה קורין בו ואמרי לה יגנז דחיישינן שמא עובד כוכבים כתבו:

"We do not purchase scrolls {of law from heathens}, etc.":
Rav Nachman said: We have a tradition that a sefer Torah written by a min should be burnt. If written by an heathen, it should be hidden {/stored} away. If it is found in the hands of a min, it should be hidden away. If in the hands of a heathen: some say one may read in it, and some say it should be hidden away, for we worry lest a heathen wrote it.
